You rush through the front door of the office, you are carrying your laptop bag, some files, and a coffee, you are near panic, because you are going to arrive exactly on time, and you've got a big meeting just moments away, you turn the corner, and head towards your desk when in the midst of the flurry of half-hearted good mornings you're caught off guard and almost fall over as one of your colleague's raises a mug and praises your recent haircut!
Instantly, you pursed slips slither into a smile, and the chaos seems to be calmed for just a moment... "You're going to be ok!" you think to yourself... you put down your stuff, grab your notebook, and stroll into your meeting, standing a little taller, walking with more confidence, and when no one's looking, you strut your way into your big meeting...
My friends... this is the power of encouragement. This is the power of your words. You can use them for good or... you can use them for evil, the choice is yours.
How do you want to use your words today?
